Asociacion Cinematográfica de Alcapaz is a film and television studio located in Alcapaz, a city in Puerto Chango. Was founded in 1938 as a film studio, later was bought by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1962 (until 1986 when Turner Broadcasting System bought all the 75%, when the 25% is by the government), and now is part of Toei Company, recognized for their support in local versions of the tokusatsu series.

It was originally a prison until 1937, when they decided to build a modern studios (the style of an American film producer, mixing with the Mexican) for film and television.

It is known by the term "sopaipilla western", as western genre films it produces, but with the entire team of local production, adding to the performance of international actors. It is also known for producing "sopaipilla"-genre films.

It also has a backlot (built on land that is shared with 5 local farmers and a rancher), a large effects stage, the main 29 stages (connected to the former parts of the prison), 129 more soundstages, full-service McDonald's and Giovanni's Pizza restaurants, and much more.
