KMT-TV (first era)[]

1989-1993[]

KMT-TV was launched on March 1989, as an independent station branded as "MainTele 27", originally owned by Cordillera Communications. It was based on the Teleuniverso logo from 1991.

1993-2000[]

1993-1997[]

On July 1993, KMT-TV was rebranded to simply "MT", meaning the initials of MainTele. This adopted the Pac-Man-like geometric MT (given the nickname for the logo) that continued to use until 2000.

KAI-TV[]

2000-2003[]

On June 21, 2000, KMT-TV changed its station callsign to KAI-TV. Its station branding was changed to Kai TV.

KMT-TV (second era)[]

2003-2007[]

The KAI-TV callsign was reverted back to KMT-TV in 2003. It recycled the previous Kai TV logo from 2000, but it is now blue.

2007-2018[]

KMT-TV 2007

On January 2016, KMT-TV became a UWN station from KXSN-TV, turning into a Chrononetwork (now NTN) affiliation. On the same day, the former station's owner Cordillera Communications were sold to UWN Television Stations (now UWN Television Stations America), becoming the station a UWN owned & operated television station in Texas with KCDW-TV in Dallas.

On New Year's Day of 2020 at 2:00 AM CST, KMT-TV switched the affiliation to TanardoTV, while CubenRocks Channel being returned to KXSN-TV yet again.

July 2020-present[]

KMT-TV New Logo for the 2020's

On July 19, 2020, KMT-TV was sold to owners of Thai TV channel, PPTV and reverted to independent station again. Also, it adopted PPTV styled branding and Digitron as mascot.
