After 42 years of broadcasting in United States only, WBTV started airing in other countries and became an alternative to Warner Channel in countries including Spain, France, Sweden, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Poland, Italy, Australia, Turkey, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Norway, Denmark, Canada and South Africa.
It's sister channel/equivalent Warner Channel is available in Asia and Latin America.
After The WB was replaced with The CW on terrestrial television and revived in 2008 as online website, The WB became a cable television network purchased by Crystal Holdings (now Polar Night Inc) and Warner Bros. Entertainment and Tribune Media.
