Tyono International is a premium channel which broadcasts in Europe and South America. The channel airs general entertainment programming.

Tyono Channel[]

Pre-launch (1982)[]

Tyono Channel

Tyono International had its origins as Tyono Channel. It launched on 2nd May 1983, airing each day from 4:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. (Tyono Standard Time). Originally it was only avaliable in Tyono, UK, Italy and the Netherlands, but expanded to other parts in Europe in 1984.

In September 1986, Tyono International announced plans to expand its service in Spring 1987. In February that year, it was confirmed the rebrand would land on 22nd June 1987. New services were launched onto the network too; Eurogame, Eurokids and Eruocoke.

On 24th March 2003, Tyono International rebranded to Tyono One.

On 13th October that year, the "y" in "Tyono" was lapped over the "O" in "One".

On 2nd September 2013, Tyono International launched a new look. Red Bee Media and Novocom had a competition to design a new logo for the channel. Red Bee Media's design won. Novocom's design had "TYONO" in a oval shape and "INTERNATIONAL" in a rectangle shape.
